The following quote was found on pdrhealth.com, and is in reference to Soy Isoflavones.  They do not list cautions and contra indications on their site for Red Clover, however like soy, the main active ingredient in Red Clover is Isoflavone, so we felt that we should provide you with the most current information.  In Chinese Medicine, Red Clover is not viewed the same way as Soy.  None the less, both substances do contain Isoflavone, which is considered a phyto-estrogenic acting similar to, but not the same as estrogen in the body.

PRECAUTIONS
Pregnant women and nursing mothers should avoid the use of soy isoflavone supplements pending long-term safety studies. Men with prostate cancer should discuss the advisability of the use of soy isoflavones with their physicians before deciding to use them.

Women with estrogen receptor-positive tumors should exercise caution in the use of soy isoflavones and should only use them if they are recommended and monitored by a physician.

I started taking Red Clover and am also on the Hormone patch! I did not read first (duh)!  I have had dizziness and have discontinued the Red Clover until the patch wears off.  I have no idea howlong that process takes, so I'll give it a few weeks.

Dizziness can be from the hormones alone.  The red clover is fairly mild in it's effect in regards to actual hormones.  If the dizziness continues, make sure to visit your physician.
