My father has liver problems from prolonged use of alcohol.  He went to the doctor 3 years ago and was diagnosed with fatty live(mild to moderate).  He has continued to drink and last week displayed the jaundice.  In one former message you said milk thistle would not be your first choice, what would be your first choice?  Also since he has jaundice does that guarantee he has cirrhosis, or could it be a more advanced form of fatty liver?
