Can you tell me if your milk thistle product is hexane free?

We often get asked if hexane is used in our extracts.  For some people the presence of hexane is seen as a health concern.  Hexane is a petroleum based solvent used often in gasoline and other common products.  There are no petrol products in our extracts, so the answer is no, no hexane.

The ingredients used to make our extracts are as follows:
Certified Organic Milk Thistle Seed (1/2 of which is lightly roasted)
Certified Organic Dandelion Root
Certified Organic Red Clover Blossoms
Certified Organic Ethanol (made from 100% grains in certified organic stills).
Spring Water

Nothing else is added short of love.
